Noida: The Noida Industrial Development Authority directed its officials to expedite the development of four underpasses proposed on Noida and Greater Noida expressways to provide relief to commuters from traffic jams.
Speaking in a review meeting on Tuesday, Ritu Maheshwari, chief executive officer of the authority, told the officials to expedite all the development work in the district.
She asked the officials to invite tenders for a golf city project proposed in Sector 151 by mid-March. As for the underpasses, she said a bid for one of them has already been accepted. She told the officers to commence the work soon.
She directed concerned officers to expedite the process for commencing development works in the city. The officers were asked to complete the design of an underpass at Parthala Chowk before floating a tender by the end of next month in order to get rid of traffic jams.
She stressed the need for the completion of the work for the development of a skywalk between Sector 18 market and Botanical Garden metro station.
Meanwhile, the authority is going to invite fresh bids for installation of equipment for laser shows and musical fountains at the Medicinal Park in Sector 91 and also at YRF Park in sector 14 A, Noida.
