Sector 51 held its RWA election on Sunday. The election officer received nominations for only 15 posts out of the total 17 posts in the RWA. All 15 were declared unopposed winners.
Sanjeev Kumar, who was declared the general secretary of RWA, told City Spidey, that in the absence of candidates contesting against the nominations received, the election officers had announed all the 15 applicants as winners.
After the result was declared, the RWA, along with residents, celebrated by planting numerous saplings at the Sector's children's park.
The old managing committee took charge of the RWA.
AP Ranotra, Sanjeev Kumar and MG Agarwal were declared as president, general secretary and treasurer respectivelly. PK Sharma and N Kapoor were declared the vice-president and joint treasurer of the RWA.
Jagdish Singh, Sudbury Sinha and G Srinivas were elected as joint secretaries of the RWA while Saurabh Jain, IN Barat, Vijay Pal Setia, Narsh Agarwal, Arun Kumar Sarin, Anil Vershney and Manish Baveja were declared as executive members of the RWA.
