Noida flowers show opens on theme of Dianthus

Noida: Conceptualised on the theme of Dianthus, the Noida flowers show was opened on Friday for public at Ramlila ground, Stadium in Sector 21A. The show would be open for three days. Dianthus is a large genus that includes pink, carnation, and Sweet Williams in its family of flowers.

As it coincidentally opens on Maha Shivratri, a gardener has developed a tray garden on the theme of an artificial Kailash Parvat, (mountain of Kailash). He has developed it in a way that this tray garden looks like Kailash Parvat. He also placed idol of Lord Shiva.

It is said that citizens especially in metros do not have much space for plantation and gardening at their dwelling place. But gardeners have exhibited their talents to manage this space constraints as well. They have made a vertical garden of bamboo, where small flower plants can be nurtured.

With the city turning into concrete forest, people do not have space to grow vegetables. But it is true that where there is will there is way. The green lovers show a way out through which vegetables can be grown even on terrace in pots.

Banyan tree, popularly known as 'bargad ka ped' in Hindi, is a giant tree, if it is full grown. It always releases oxygen, which we all breathe in. But here a gardener has grown bonsai plant in tray that looks many years old. This can be kept on the terrace.

If you are thinking that these trees would take a lot of time and care then you may be wrong as they care for themselves on their own and safeguard others.
