Gurugram: Municipal Corporation of Gurugram Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh has instructed the officials to take each complaint seriously received through any medium and resolve them promptly.

The direction came during a review meeting on the complaints received through CM Window, Harpath, Social Media Grievance Tracker (SMGT), Sameer Portal, Social Media, Call Center and several other medium held on Friday at the MCG office in Sector 34.

While reviewing the status of complaints received through various medium, he instructed the officials to ensure that these complaints are resolved within the stipulated time frame and if a complaint takes longer time to be resolved, same needs to be intimated to the complainant.

He also gave necessary guidelines to the officials regarding resolution of various complaints. He said that complaints should not be kept unnecessarily pending.

According to the MCG, a total of 55 complaints received from CPCB are pending till February 21 and around 56 grievances on CM window are yet to be resolved by the MCG.

“This will not only facilitate complaints but will also create a better image of the civic body among the public,” he said during the meeting.
