New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to pleasant Monday morning as the minimum temperature settled at 10.8 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year. The relative humidity was recorded at 82 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead with chances of mist on Tuesday morning.
According to an official from Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius on Monday.
As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), the day-time temperatures will rise slightly to 26 degrees Celsius at the beginning of this week and thereafter stabilise at 27 degrees Celsius from Wednesday, February 26 onwards.
According to the centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of the national capital stood at 135 which falls in the 'moderate' category.
PM10 pollutants in Delhi on Monday were recorded at 167, while PM2.5 were recorded at 90, both falls in the 'moderate' category.
