Dwarka: Here are two photographs, captured at Sector 12, in front of Mixed Land Use (MLU) Market adjacent to Dwarkadheesh Apartments. Both the photographs are enough to expose the state of the civic system.
In one photograph (on the slider), cars can be seen parked right at the entrance of the market from master plan road 202, narrowing the passage. A few metres away, a vehicle is parked on the footpath above the main drain which runs along the master plan road.
In the other photograph (given below), there is a signboard put up by the Traffic Police and the administration, blocking the access. A message in bold letters on the board reads: 'No Parking'. But the cars blatantly parked here are mocking the advisory on the sigh board.
The authorities should take a serious note of these issues, to ensure free space to the traffic movement. They should also make sure the rules made by them are followed in letter and spirit.
