Noida: Residents of Sikka Karmic Greens, a high rise in Sector 78, Noida wrote to Sector 49 Police Station demanding deployment of police personnel for their safety as they feel a threat from employees of the developer.
A letter duly signed by a few residents states that the employees broke the locks of a gate in the commercial area of the society. The residents had locked the gate early this month for security purpose.
But some employees broke the gate open and put up a notice reading 'the gate was under CCTV surveillance' and warned of dire consequences if anybody locked the gate again.
Incensed by the action of the employees, the residents got together and locked the gate again on Wednesday evening.
They complained to the police against the developer's employees who had intimidated them. The residents also said that in the past, burglaries had taken place in the society due to unwanted entries through the gate.
The residents sought police protection as there was the threat of reprisal from the employees is lurching.
