Dwarka: Prohibitory orders under Section 144 imposed in Dwarka

Dwarka: In view of the precarious situation throughout the city after the riots, prohibitory Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) has been imposed in Dwarka. 

The police have asked the residents to avoid being part of any procession, rally, peace march, assembly and human chain formation etc till the prohibitory orders are withdrawn and normalcy is restored in Delhi. 

ACP Dwarka has urged the residents to abide by all the advisories issued by the police. “We should not allow anyone to take advantage of this precarious situation and  create any law and order problem in Dwarka,” he said.

“I have confidence that the people of Dwarka will certainly help the local police in maintenance of law and order and avoid joining any such gathering where more then 4 people assemble,” he added.
