New Delhi: In the wake of the tensed situation after riots, Directorate of Education Examination cell on Saturday announced that schools in northeast Delhi will remain closed till March 7.
As per the circular issued by the DoE, the annual school examinations of other classes will also be postponed. The officials said that the situation is not conducive to conduct exams in violence affected northeast Delhi.
Officials of the Directorate of Education (DoE) said that the schools were scheduled to open for principals and staff on Saturday to get stock of the current situation.
Four days ago, violence were seen at northeast Delhi where at least 42 people got killed and 200 others were injured. The violence happened between pro and anti-CAA protesters.
