Gurugram: The newly-elected governing body of Mahindra Aura, a residential society in Sector 110A, held its first RWA meeting at the society club house on Sunday.

The meeting was attended by all the members of the governing body including Vijeta Malik (President), Rajesh Chadha (Vice President), SB Soni (Secretary), Kuldeep Singh ( Jt. Secretary),  Rajat Khurana (Treasurer), Ranjiv Sehgal along with executive members Sanjeev Marwah, CS Chahal, Ashutosh Tripathi, Ashok Tandon and Pankaj Srivastav.

During the meeting, the members of the governing body agreed to takeover the maintenance charge from the administrator, who was appointed by the district registrar in September last year and was taking care of the day-to-day affair of the society.

They have also called on General Board Meeting (GBM) on March 15 to discuss further development agenda with the residents of the society.

The members also agreed to hire new facility management on a temporary basis for the services including housekeeping, security, horticulture and technical staff. They alleged that their old facility agency withdrew their service from March 1 without any prior notice.

“Our RWA was formed on Friday and on Saturday, we were informed about the withdrawal of the service by the facility agency without any prior notice from March 1. It was done to create panic like situation in the society  but we made the arrangement on temporary basis so that there is no inconvenience to residents. The final decision will be taken on the maintenance agency in the upcoming GBM,” said Vijeta Malik, RWA president.

They have also decided to form RWA control room to take a note of problems faced by residents and their early resolution.

“We have decided to work as a team for the development of the society and take note of people concerned. We have decided to work upon the feasibility to connect our society with fibre network and installation of gas piped line in the society,” Malik added.
