New Delhi: As Holi is just a week away various social communities in East Delhi have started preparing for the festival of colours.
Various social events are awaited to welcome the month of Phalgun with revelry and colours. Krishna Nagar organised the very first Holi Milan Samaroh with zest.
International Maheshwari couple club organised Holi Milan Samaroh on Monday evening. Artists were invited from Rajasthan to give a performance on the occasion. Representatives of other social organisations were also present.
Aparna Goel, councillor of the area, said, “Every year, with the help of various communities, we organise social get together to promote harmony in the area. Fagwa songs are also sung on the festival.
