Noida: All the six people who attended the party hosted by the man tested positive for coronavirus have been tested negative. This was confirmed by BN Singh, district magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
In a text message confirming about samples taken for the test, the district magistrate wrote on Wednesday morning that the samples were collected from six contacts and they were all tested negative.
He further informed the residents that they will be under home quarantine for the next 14 days and if symptoms of the virus develop, they will undergo the test again.
He said that government and administration were keeping a close watch. “Residents need not panic. The administration has not given any order regarding closure of schools,” he added.
The man tested positive on Monday at Ram Manohar Lohiya (RML) Hospital is father of a student at one of the reputed schools in Noida. He had organised the party at his residency which was attended by the six people.
