Coronavirus scare: URJA urges RWAs to cancel Holi Milan programmes

New Delhi: Apex resident welfare associations body United RWAs Joint Action (URJA) has issued an advisory asking the RWAs to refrain from organising Holi Milan programmes at the societies in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

“As a responsible RWA, it is our duty to put all possible efforts towards minimising the spread. The health of our residents is our top most priority and we shall not compromise on the same,” the advisory read.

Further, the body asked RWAs to issue a circular to the residents informing them about the ways the deadly disease can be kept at bay.

“You may issue a circular or a word on WhatsApp groups to the resident members highlighting the facts about the disease,” the advisory said.

Meanwhile, many RWAs have already cancelled the Holi Milan programmes across Delhi-NCR.

Coronavirus cases have increased in India in past two days. People have started wearing masks on public places to avoid getting the infection.
