New Delhi: As the coronavirus cases rise in the National Capital, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has planned to sensitise commuters by installing digital screens at major stations where dos and don'ts will be displayed. 

The dos and dont's will be issued in both English and Hindi and will run on stations like Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Central Secretariat, Chandni Chowk, New Delhi etc. 

Besides, the DMRC also said that it would increase the frequency of cleaning on its premises. The DMRC informed that instructions are issued regarding this through a circular on Wednesday.

The DMRC has also spread awareness among its staff and circulated a guideline of dos and dont's to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. “Delhi Metro staff has been sensitised and guidelines have been circulated regarding dos and dont's to prevent the spread of coronavirus,” DMRC said in a circular.

“Displays at some other major stations spread across the network will also be done with informative messages to create awareness amongst its passengers on the basic protective measures in this regard,” the circular read.

More than 20 lakh commuters daily travel within the network of Delhi Metro. A positive case of novel coronavirus reported on Monday has triggered situation of panic in the National Capital.
