Dwarka: Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of DDA DFS Sector 5 took up the points related to civic issues with the area (Matiala) MLA, Gulab Singh Yadav. 

The MLA visited the pocket on Sunday. Water problem, damaged and choked drainage system, maintenance of flats, lack of boundary walls etc., entire civic scenario inside the society and its surroundings came up for discussion during their interaction. 

The RWA urged Gulab Singh to install CCTV cameras and boom for security of the society.

General Secretary of the RWA, Mahesh Gupta, said apart from the issues of maintenance inside the pocket pending with authorities, they asked the MLA for CCTV and boom barrier from a scheme of Delhi Government. 

“We got an assurance on the demands we put up in front of him and promised to visit them again with BSES, DDA, SDMC, DJB officials at 4 pm on March 16 to take note of the subjects in detail before taking steps to resolve the issues,” he said.
