New Delhi: Mission Learning Foundation, a Gurugram based non-profit organisation, has decided to carry out a donation drive to help underprivileged sections of the society. An event was held at Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi on Sunday to boost the drive.

Volunteers of the foundation had been preparing for this event for long and had conducted a week-long collection drive in which people from different societies donated reusable clothes, toys and biscuits.

The volunteers of the Mission Learning Foundation ensured that the beneficiaries of the donation get the maximum benefit from the drive. More than 600 people of underprivileged sections including women and children were provided with snacks, biscuits, clothes, etc. during the drive.

Ankur Sinha, a volunteer of the foundation who was leading the New Delhi drive, said such activities and the count of recipients keep him and his team enlivened and motivated.

A similar event was also organised in Hyderabad by the foundation volunteers. Mahima Bhargava, who led the Hyderabad event, said that the foundation and its volunteers have pledged to help people in maximum possible ways and ensure that they spread smile, happiness and knowledge.
