New Delhi: One more person has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus taking the total number of cases to 40 in India.
This time a baby girl has been tested positive for the virus. The girl returned to India from Italy with her parents on March 7.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare shared the information about the confirmed case. The girl was shifted to Ernakulam Medical College after thermal screening at Kochi airport. On noticing fever, sample of the girl was taken for test. Later, reports were found to be positive.
More than 1.5 lakh patients have been screened at the airport as a part of prevention of coronavirus.
