New Delhi: Four fresh cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country, increasing the figure to 43, Health Ministry officials said on Monday.

A new case each has been reported from Kerala, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, the officials said, adding that no death has been reported so far.

Meanwhile in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asked the Central Government to strictly bar flights to and from countries affected by the dreaded virus strain.
"As of today, there are a total of 43 cases including three positive cases from Kerala. All the three patients have been discharged from the hospitals. Of these, 40 are active cases of COVID-19 in the country.

Meanwhile, four new cases of COVID-19 have been reported since yesterday's update – one each from Ernakulum (Kerala), Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu," the Ministry said in its statement.
