Till now, 11 cases of coronovirus have been reported from Uttar Pradesh.

Noida: The Uttar Pradesh government on Friday announced closure of all schools and colleges till March 22. The decision came a day after Delhi government ordered the closing of school and cinema halls.

The administration has also ordered closing of medical school as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. Till now, 11 cases of coronovirus have been reported from Uttar Pradesh. 

The most recent case of the virus was reported from Lucknow on Thursday. A lady doctor who had returned from Canada was found positive and is under treatment at King George Medical College.

The schools that are having their end-term examination have been allowed to continue with the examination while those who are yet to proceed with the annual examination have been asked to postpone it.

Talking to CitySpidey, Principal of Grads International School in Greater Noida, Dr Aditi Basu said, “We haven’t received any notice yet but we will abide by whatever comes in.” 

Annual examination are going on at the school with the computer science paper still left. Asked if the school is ready to postpone the paper, Basu said that whatever instructions come from the administration, we will follow and we don’t have a problem in rescheduling the paper afterwards.
