Delhi: Federation of residents’ association of IP Extension cancelled annual meeting in the wake of COVID-19 on Sunday.
Important decisions were to be discussed in the meeting. The federation cancelled the meeting keeping in view the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which advised people to avoid public gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus.
General Secretary of the federation, Ajay Gupta, said, "The meeting was scheduled to be held in the premises of AVB School. It was an annual meeting where discussion on several issues was to take place such as water harvesting in the presence of DJB representative, PPT on GST on co-operative societies by GST expert, security issues with SHO of Madhu Vihar Rajeev Kumar.
Besides, he said felicitation of newly elected MLA OP Sharma was also to be done. The meeting has been cancelled till further orders.
