Greater Noida: After equipping the guards with masks, residents of Gaur City's 6th Avenue, a housing society here, distributed hand sanitisers to them and stuck instructions on towers for visitors on Sunday.

The group of residents from the avenue distributed hand-sanitiser, hand-wash and floor cleaner to the security and house-keeping staff after contributing among themselves.

The residents also stuck posters in the lobbies of the towers asking every visitor and house-helps to sanitise their hands before entering the premises/ towers.

Talking to CitySpidey, Anita Prajapati, a resident of the society, said, “Lots of awareness is being spread about coronavirus. In view of the advisory, we distributed these items in order to maintain hygiene.”

The maintenance staff has also been instructed to clean the button of the lift as it is being used by mass public along with carrying out frequent fogging on the premises.

The residents are planning to distribute masks also. The masks which the guards at the gates are using are provided by the maintenance team.

A team including Anita Prajapati, Amit Sharma, Ajay, Amarjeet, Gaurav Mittal, Anita Akharia, Surender Singh, Brij and others are also planning to create further awareness among the residents to maintain hygiene.
