New Delhi: Six positive corona patients have been discharged from Safdarjung Hospital. The patients were undergoing treatment in an isolation ward in the hospital.

Earlier, three patients from Kerala were also treated successfully. Such news brings some relief amid the panic due to coronavirus. 

As per the official information by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, all the six patients have been fully recovered. They will be under surveillance at home. The patients were kept in the isolation ward after being brought from the airport. All had a history of travelling to corona-affected countries. 

Dr. Balwinder Singh Arora, Medical Superintendent of Safdarjung Hospital, said, “One should not worry about infections. Delhi has seven positive cases of COVID-19, out of which six have been discharged. One death was reported from Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital. The deceased was a 69-year-old lady who had diabetes and hypertension as well. Strong immunity can prevent from infection.” 

Till now two deaths have been reported from COVID-19. Both the deceased were senior citizens and had comorbidity diseases like diabetes and hyper-tension as well. All the young patients of the disease have been treated successfully.
