Noida: Resident Welfare Association (RWA) election was conducted at Dhawalgiri Apartments at Sector 34 in Noida on Sunday. All the members got elected unopposed.
The election officer Shashi Bhushan Arora told CitySpidey that 15 nominations were filed for 15 seats of the RWA. “There was no contest. All the contestants made to the board automatically,” he said.
Jain, the president elect said that he will pursue the pending development work in the society.
“The RWA will reconstruct the drains of the society so that the issue of water stagnation gets resolved. We will also install streetlights to illuminate the dark spots of the society. Besides, our focus would be on cleanliness as well,” he said.
Interestingly, Jain has been selected seventh time as RWA president of Dhawalgiri society. He also holds portfolios of president of RWA federation of Sector 34 and General Secretary of FONRWA in Noida.
