Noida: Following issuance of advisories by both the Centre and State against public gatherings, the Noida Authority on Tuesday decided to postpone all the regular public hearings at its office till April 10.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure for controlling spread of COVID-19, officials said.
According to them, the regular public meetings, which used to take place on every Wednesday and Friday at the authority office, have been postponed for avoiding the communicability of the virus.
It used to be an important meeting where public grievances were resolved every week. Complaints received from residents were being heard on mentioned day and decisions were being taken accordingly to solve them.
Officials said that residents can submit their grievances with the authority at its reception in Sector 6 and the copy of the same can be sent to concerned officers through mail.
Their mail IDs are available on the official website of the authority.
Officials said that they were directed to check their mails every day and ensure appropriate action for resolution of complaints.
