Dwarka: Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Sri Agrasen Co-operative Group Housing Society, Dwarka, has started taking extensive precautionary measures to keep the disease at bay.
Manish Gupta, president of the society, has issued a notice to the residents to abide by the rules laid down by the management in wake of coronavirus.
They have arranged hand washing facility at the gate of the society. Residents have been requested to wash their hands at the wash basin on the entry gate.
The management have also requested all the staff members including house helps, maids, drivers etc to wash their hands at the gate.
Apart from that, society staff, workers, service providers, courier and food service delivery persons were also advised to wash hands.
As well, the management requested the residents to minimise usage of food and other service deliveries.
Cleaning staff have been instructed to sanitise various areas of the society including the staircase railing touch panels etc. The management also requested people to stay indoors in case they are unwell.
AK Parashar, Joint Secretary of society, said, “Lockdown means taking all preventive steps including closure of public transport. Distancing from public as far as possible is also required at this time. We are taking all steps to keep our surroundings clean. We are persuading residents to follow advisories issued by the government.”
He concluded, “Security has been instructed to allow only outside vehicles if it is carrying senior citizens or heavy load of eatables.”
