Noida: As the consumption of sanitisers has witnessed sharp increase especially after the outbreak of novel coronavirus, residents of Pan Oasis, a highrise in Sector 70, Noida, have initiated a campaign where they are taking voluntary contributions to meet the expense.
The residents are donating amount to ensure that the society has sufficient disinfecting chemical to curtail the spread of corona virus.
A resident said that sanitisers are available at all the three stages of entry. They are first at entry gate, second at reception of residential tower and third outside door of homes in the society. He said, “Efforts have been taken to overcome the challenge and avoid the spread of the corona virus.”
For effective implementation of precautionary measures, two residents have been nominated from each of total 18 residential towers in the society. They are coordinating with staff for ensuring disinfection of common areas properly.
Another resident said, “We have been taking all measures for safety of residents from the virus and don't want to leave anything on God. A communication group has been formed to sensitise fellow residents to reduce the usages of passengers lifts in the society, besides prohibiting the entries of delivery boys in the society.”
In constant coordination with house keeping staffs, precautionary measures are being implemented. On-duty security guards have been educated to ensure that each one entering the society use the sanitiser before they take entry.
Residents said that this is an issue of greater concern for all those residing in the society. Keeping this in mind, they have decided to overcome this challenge.
They said, “A total of 36 residents have been working in close coordination with house keeping and security guards. They also meet once in a day to decide what action needs to be taken to avoid the spread of deadly virus.”
