96 new coronavirus cases reported in GB Nagar

Noida: Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar reported 96 fresh coronavirus cases while one person succumbed to the disease, showed the official data on Friday.

With recovery of 15 patients during the 24-hour period, a total number of people who were discharged rose to 1,541, as per the UP's daily health bulletin. The Covid-19 fatalities stand at 23 in the district.

There are 1,005 active cases in the district as of now, the bulletin said. At present, the district has the second highest active cases in the state after Ghaziabad district which has 1,045 active cases.

At present, the district tally of Covid-19 cases stands at 2,569.    

So far, Uttar Pradesh state’s tally of active cases stands at 7,451, while 17,597 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 749.
