Gurugram: With 133 fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, Gurugram on Wednesday recorded a total tally of 6,316.

So far, 5,227 people have been discharged with 110 patients recovering during the 24 hours period, the health bulletin said. The total number of Covid-19 fatalities in the district stood at 102.

The number of active cases rose to 987, of which 30 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 163 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 55 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 739 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, the district administration launched a web-portal – coronaharyana.in, to provide all the information and data from the district and entire state related to novel coronavirus.

The portal was a joint initiative by Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC).

The portal supports 108 languages and would provide information like helpline number, quarantine centre, hospitals, labs, availability of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds at different hospitals, number of cases in large outbreak areas, among others.

On Wednesday, Haryana recorded the highest single-day spike with 691 fresh cases taking the tally to 18,690, the state health department data showed.

The number of active cases stood at 4,302 while the death toll reached 282 after three deaths linked to Covid-19 reported on Wednesday, the health bulletin said.

In a relief, 463 patients were recovered in the last 24 hours taking the total to 14,106 patients who have been discharged so far, the state health department said. The state’s recovery rate stood at 75.47 per cent.
