Dwarka: President of Federation of Cooperative Group Housing Societies (CGHS) Sudha Sinha on Monday met with the team of Indus Ltd at the office of ACP Rajinder Singh and expressed her opposition to the proposed installation of a mobile tower at the herbal park in Sector 6, Dwarka.

Citing health hazards, the President strongly presented her views and the issue was discussed in detail. She said that there are four schools and 25 residential societies in the vicinity.

Sinha reasoned that the installation of a mobile tower will have an adverse effect on the residents and people who take morning and evening walks in the park.

The team of Indus Ltd said that they will discuss the matter and inform them about their decision later on.

After the meeting, the same group of people met Chief Engineer of Delhi Development Authority (DDA) AK Agarwal. Sinha presented the same concern with the Chief Engineer.

Agarwal assured that he will discuss the issue with Principal Commissioner (Land & Development), Vikas Sadan.
