Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar reported 90 fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the district tally to 3,495, the official data showed on Monday.
The district’s overall number of deaths linked to Covid-19 counted to 33, while 2,590 patients got recovered with 106 persons getting discharged after recovery from infection in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.
In a relief, the district witnessed a decline in the number of active cases which counted to 872, from 893 on Sunday and 918 on Saturday, the data showed.
The district’s recovery rate rose to 74.10 per cent, from 72.84 per cent on Sunday and 71.58 per cent on Saturday, according to official data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 1,664 new cases and 21 deaths during the 24 hours period. The state tally of active cases stands at 12,972, while 24,203 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 955.
The state overall recovery rate stood at 63.47 per cent, according to the data.
