Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar reported 112 fresh cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, taking the district tally to 3,719, according to the state health bulletin.
83 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the district during the last 24 hours, taking the recovered patients tally to 2,811.
Currently, there are 873 active cases in the district while the death toll counted to 35, it said.
The district’s recovery now stood at 75.58 per cent, while fatality rate counted to 0.94 per cent, according to official data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 1,685 new cases and 29 deaths linked to the deadly disease on Wednesday, the state health department said.
The total number of deaths linked to Covid-19 in UP crossed 1,000, taking the death toll to 1,012 in the state, the data showed.
The number of active cases stood at 14, 628. While 763 patients discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours, taking the state tally to 25,743.
The state recovery rate stood at 62.20 per cent while the fatality rate counted to 2.45 per cent, according to the data.
