Noida: As many as 143 people were found positive of Covid-19 infection in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar on Thursday, taking the district tally to 3,862, the official data showed.
The district has recorded two more deaths linked to the deadly disease, pushing the death toll to 37, the health bulletin said.
The total number of patients discharged after recovery reached 2,878 with 67 patients getting discharged during the last 24 hours period in the district.
As of now, the number of active cases rose to 947, the data showed.
The district’s recovery rate now stands at 74.53 per cent, while fatality rate is 0.95 per cent, according to official data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday reported the highest number of positive cases and single-day deaths due to coronavirus with 2,083 new cases and 34 deaths during the 24 hours period.
The state’s total number of Covid-19 cases counted to 43,441 while the overall fatalities linked to coronavirus now reached 1,046. The state tally of active case stands at 15,720, while 26,675 patients have been discharged.
