Dwarka: Dwarka Police is acting tough on people who are violating the norms amid the coronavirus pandemic. They are continuously penalising the people roaming without masks and failing to maintain social distancing.

The police have issued 197 challans on Thursday. So far, 3,320 challans have been issued to the violators. DCP Anto Alphonse said that challans have been issued to 2,820 people found without masks. 

Along with this, the police are also providing masks to people found without it. On Thursday, 125 masks were distributed in Dwarka. So far, more than 10,000 people have been given masks.

ACP, Rajender Singh said that the action is being taken for the safety of people in the times of coronavirus. He said, “People should not take chances with their life and also the life of others. We will continue to penalise people violating the norms.”
