Noida: With 84 new cases of coronavirus reported, Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar tally rose to 3,940, the official data showed on Friday.
The district’s overall number of deaths linked to Covid-19 counted to 38 with one more person succumbing to the deadly disease, the health bulletin said.
As of now, the number of active cases stood at 971, the data showed.
A total of 53 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the district tally to 2,931 with a recovery rate of 74.39 per cent.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh continued to see a spike in the number of cases reported daily. As on Friday, 1,733 new cases and 38 deaths were reported during the 24 hours period. Now the total number of positive cases counted to 45,177, the state health department said.
The state tally of active cases stands at 16,445, while 27,634 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 1,084.
