Noida: With 90 new cases of Covid-19, Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar crossed the 4,000 mark, pushing the district tally to 4,024, the official data showed on Saturday.
The district’s overall number of deaths linked to Covid-19 counted to 38, while the number of active cases now declined to 953, the health bulletin said.
As many as 102 patients have been discharged during the last 24 hours taking the district tally to 3,033.
The district’s recovery rate slightly improved to 75.37 from 74.39 per cent on Friday, the data showed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 1,986 new cases and 24 deaths during the 24 hours period, the state health department said.
The state tally of active cases stands at 17,264, while 28,664 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 1,108.
