Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar on Sunday reported 125 new cases of Covid-19, pushing the district tally to 4,144, the official data showed.
The district’s overall number of deaths linked to Covid-19 counted to 39 with one person succumbing to the deadly disease, the health bulletin said.
As many as 99 patients were discharged during the last 24 hours taking the district tally to 3,132 with a recovery rate of 75.57 per cent, the data showed.
The district’s active cases now counted to 973.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 2,250 new cases and 38 deaths during the 24 hours period, the state health department said.
The state tally of active cases stands at 18,256, while 29,845 patients have been discharged. Covid-19 fatalities in the state now reached 1,146.
