Gurugram reports 109 fresh coronavirus cases

Gurugram: The district on Monday reported 109 new cases of Covid-19, taking the tally to 7,857, the district health department said.

The total number of recovered patients now counted to 6,693 with 90 patients getting discharged after recovery during the 24 hours period, the health bulletin said.

The district recovery rate stood at 85.18 per cent.

The total number of active cases now counted to 1,048, of which 15 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 
150 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 59 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 824 patients are in home isolation.

The district’s Covid-19 fatalities stood at 116.

Meanwhile, Haryana reported 694 new cases and six deaths, taking the tally to 26,858 and death toll to 355 on Monday, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 433 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 20,226 with a recovery rate of 75.31 per cent. As of now, the number of active cases rose to 6,277.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.96 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.32 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases stood at 22 days.
