Noida: With 107 new cases of Covid-19 from Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar on Wednesday, the district tally now rose to 4,398, as per the official data showed.
The death toll linked to Covid-19 now stood at 40, with a fatality rate of 0.90 per cent, according to the data.
So far, 3,396 patients have been discharged after recovery with 122 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
The district’s recovery rate further improved to 77.21 per cent from 76.26 per cent on Tuesday and 75.08 per cent on Monday, the data showed.
The district’s active number of cases saw a decline over three consecutive days as the current caseload counted to 962 from 979 on Tuesday and 1,011 on Monday.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh has crossed the 55,000 mark as the total number of cases in the state now reached 53,588.
On Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh reported 2,308 new cases and 34 deaths in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of active cases now stood at 20,825, while the death toll counted to 1,263. However, in a relief, a total of 33,500 patients have been discharged after recovery.
