Gurugram: The Gurugram district has crossed the 8,000 mark with 149 new cases of Covid-19 reported on Wednesday. The district’s overall caseload now reached 8,127, the official data showed.

The total number of recovered patients now counted to 6,910 with 119 patients getting discharged after recovery during the 24 hours period. The district recovery rate stood at 85.02 per cent, the health bulletin said.

The district’s Covid-19 fatalities stood at 118 with two persons succumbing to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.

The total number of active cases now counted to 1,099, of which 12 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 
133 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 59 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 895 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana reported 724 new cases and eight deaths, taking the tally to 28,186 and death toll to 372 on Wednesday, the state health bulletin said.

In a relief, 745 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 21,697. The state recovery rate now counted to 76.98 per cent.

As of now, the number of active cases stood at 6,117.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.97 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.32 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 23 days.
