Gurugram: Gurugram district recorded 139 new cases, taking the total Covid-19 positive cases to 8,266 in the district, the official data showed on Thursday.

The district also recorded one more death of a positive patient in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 119, the health bulletin said.

A total number of recovered patients now counted to 6,995 with 85 patients getting discharged after recovery during the 24 hours period. The district recovery rate declined to 84.62 per cent from 85.02 per cent on Wednesday, it said.

The total number of active cases now increased to 1,152 of which 11 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 125 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 61 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 955 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana reported 789 new cases and six deaths, taking the tally to 28,975 and death toll to 378 on Thursday, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 552 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 22,249. The state recovery rate now counted to 76.99 per cent.

As of now, the number of active cases stood at 6,348. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 149, among these, 123 patients are on oxygen support, while 26 on ventilators.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.98 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.30 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 23 days.
