Gurugram: With 127 fresh cases of Covid-19, Gurugram tally of positive cases now reached 8,393 in the district on Friday, according to the district health department.
So far, 7,110 patients have been recovered with 115 patients getting discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours in the district. The district recovery rate stood at 84.71, according to the daily health bulletin.
The district also recorded one more death of a positive patient in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 120, it said.
The total number of active cases rose to 1,163, of which 12 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 116 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 75 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 960 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, Gurugram Police issued 13,000 challans against people for not wearing a mask in public places and imposed a fine of Rs 64 lakh.
The district administration made the use of face masks mandatory for people at the public places in order to control the spread of novel coronavirus.
As on Friday, Haryana recorded 780 new cases and four deaths, taking the tally to 29,755 and death toll to 382, the state health bulletin said.
As many as 704 patients recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 22,953. The state recovery rate slightly improved to 77.14 per cent from 76.99 per cent on Thursday.
At present, the number of active cases stood at 6,420. The number of positive patients in critical care rose to 174, among these, 139 patients are on oxygen support, while 35 on ventilators.
The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.96 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.28 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 23 days.
