Gurugram: With 121 fresh cases of novel coronavirus recorded on Sunday, Gurugram district tally now reached 8,612, according to the district health department.
The deadly disease has claimed 120 lives in the district, of whom 82 patients had co-morbidities while 38 had no known co-morbidities, the health bulletin said.
So far, 7,408 patients have recovered from the infection with 170 patients getting discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours in the district, it said.
The district recovery rate slightly improved to 86.01 per cent from 85.24 per cent on Saturday and 84.71 per cent on Friday, according to the statistics.
The total number of active cases declined to 1,084, of which 10 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 106 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 49 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 919 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 794 new cases of Covid-19, while three more persons succumbed to the deadly disease on Sunday. The state’s overall number of positive cases now stood at 31,332, while death toll counted to 392, the state health bulletin said.
As many as 730 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally of recovered patients to 24,384 in the state. The recovery rate stood at 77.82 per cent, the data showed.
At present, the number of active cases stood at 6,556. The number of positive patients in critical care declined to 116. Among these, 94 patients are on oxygen support, while 22 on ventilators.
The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.76 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.25 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 23 days.
