Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar recovery rate improved to 82.87 per cent on Sunday, as the number of active cases saw a gradual decline in the district.
On Sunday, the district recorded 110 new cases of Covid-19, pushing the tally to 4,748, as per the official data.
The number of active cases further declined to 773, while the death toll counted to 40, the data showed.
So far, 3,935 patients have been discharged after recovery with 235 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported the single-day spike of Covid-19 positive with 3,260 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, while 39 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease, the state health department said.
The total number of active cases in the state rose to 23,921 from 22,452 on Saturday.
The state death toll counted to 1,426, while 41,641 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
