Dwarka: These days, round the clock police patrolling can be seen at parks in Dwarka. As there has been a drop in the influx of visitors due to coronavirus pandemic, the police do not want to take any chances.

They have increased the patrolling to keep the parks safe and made the space free from drug addicts and anti-social elements.

Police patrolling teams can be seen in the morning, evening and even during the daytime. They can be seen roaming in the park, ensuring no presence of anti-social elements there.

The park behind Radhika Apartments in Sector 14 was frequently used by drug addicts and anti-social elements during lockdown. It is now free from such things due to patrolling of the police officials.

“Women police patrolling teams have been regularly visiting the park. I have seen them in the morning several times,” said MK Sharma, a resident of Radhika Apartments.

RWA president of the society, Jaipal Singh expressed, “We are thankful to Dwarka police as they took our concern and initiated action. Now the park is safe. It is also good for our society’s security.”
