Gurugram: Gurugram recorded 108 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Monday, pushing the district tally to 8,720, according to the district health department.

Till date, 7,558 patients have been recovered from the infection with 150 patients getting discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours in the district, the health bulletin said.

The district’s recovery rate slightly improved to 86.67 per cent from 86.01 per cent on Sunday and 85.24 per cent on Saturday, according to the statistics.

The total number of active cases declined to 1,042, of which 8 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 88 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 88 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 858 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 795 new cases and five deaths linked to coronavirus on Monday. The state tally of positive cases now stood at 32,127 while death toll counted to 397, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 662 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours taking the tally of recovered patients to 25,046 in the state. The recovery rate stood at 77.96 per cent, the data showed.

At present, the number of active cases stood at 6,684. The number of positive patients in critical care rose to 156, among these, 132 patients are on oxygen support, while 24 on ventilators.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.80 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.24 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 23 days.
