Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar reported 44 fresh cases of Covid-19, taking the total number of cases in the district to 4,792, as per the official data on Monday.
So far, 4,060 patients have been discharged after recovery with 125 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.
The district’s recovery rate further rose to 84.72 per cent from 82.87 per cent on Sunday, according to the statistics.
At the moment, there are 692 active cases in the district, while the death toll counted to 40, it showed. No death linked to the novel coronavirus has been reported in GB Nagar since July 20.
As on Monday, Uttar Pradesh reported the single-day spike of 3,578 new cases in the last 24 hours, while 31 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease, the state health department said.
The total number of active cases in the state rose to 26,204 from 23,921 on Sunday. The state death toll counted to 1,456, while 42,833 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
