Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar recorded 114 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the district tally to 4,904, as per the official data on Tuesday.
As many as 85 patients have been discharged from various hospitals during the last 24 hours, taking the overall number of recovered patients tally to 4,145 which is among the highest in any district in the state, the health bulletin said.
The district’s recovery rate stood at 84.52 per cent, it showed.
At the moment, there are 719 active cases in the district, while the death toll counted to 40, it showed.
No death linked to the novel coronavirus has been reported in GB Nagar since July 20.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 3,578 new cases of Covid-19, while 41 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The total number of active cases in the state counted to 27, 934.
The state death toll counted to 1,497, while 44,520 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
