Noida: With 65 fresh cases, Gautam Budh Nagar’s Covid-19 tally of positive cases reached 4,962, while one more person succumbed to the deadly disease on Wednesday, as per the official data.
So far, 4,242 patients have been recovered with 97 patients getting discharged from various hospitals during the last 24 hours in the district, the health bulletin said.
The district’s recovery rate slightly improved to 85.48 per cent from 84.52 per cent on Tuesday, it showed.
The district’s overall number of active cases declined to 679 from 719 on Tuesday, while the death toll counted to 41, it showed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 3,570 new cases of Covid-19, while 33 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has reached 77, 334, of which 29,997 are the total number of active cases. The state death toll counted to 1,530, while 45,807 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
