Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar recorded 129 new cases of Covid-19, pushing the district tally to 5,328, as per the official data on Saturday.
One more person died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 43 in the district, it showed.
The total number of active cases climbed to 846 from 796 on Friday. The district fatality rate stands at 0.80 per cent, official data said.
As many as 74 patients have been discharged after recovery during the 24 hours period. So far, the overall number of recoveries jumped to 4,439, the health bulletin said.
The district’s recovery rate further dropped to 83.31 per cent from 83.89 on Friday, 84.77 per cent on Thursday and 85.48 per cent on Wednesday, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh reported 3,807 fresh cases of Covid-19, while 47 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has now reached 89,048, of which 36,037 are the total number of active cases. The state death toll counted to 1,677, while 51,334 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
