Noida: With 105 new cases of Covid-19, Gautam Budh Nagar’s tally has now reached 5,431, as per the official data on Sunday.
The total number of active cases climbed to 886 from 846 on Saturday, it showed.
So far, 43 people died due to coronavirus in the district. The fatality rate now stands at 0.79 per cent, official data said.
As many as 63 patients have been discharged after recovery during the 24 hours period, taking the overall number of recoveries to 4,502, the health bulletin said.
The district’s recovery rate further dropped to 82.89 per cent from 83.31 per cent on Saturday, 83.89 on Friday, 84.77 per cent on Thursday and 85.48 per cent on Wednesday, according to the statistics.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh covid-19 tally is nearly 93,000 mark as 3,953 fresh cases reported on Sunday, while 53 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has now reached 92,921, of which, 37,834 are the total number of active cases. The state death toll counted to 1,730, while 53,357 patients have been discharged after recovery so far.
